Counseling and Mental Health

A free online resource with courses relating to mental wellness, and social and emotional well being.

Note:  This is not a yearlong curriculum.

In the Counseling & Mental Health course, students model the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a counseling and mental health career through simulated environments. Students are expected to apply knowledge of ethical and legal responsibilities which is an integral part of the profession. In addition, students will learn about Positive Relationships, Conflict Management, Illnesses & Disorders and much more.

Total of 23 lessons.

Making Sense of Me, A Children's Workbook: Building Resilience to Depression and Anxiety for ages 7-13 

Behind the Mask: Dealing with Anger, Grief, and Rejection for ages 13 to adult

This 65 page handbook has activities and lessons regarding social and emotional learning (SEL) for teens and tweens. First 11 pages are perfect for teachers who aren't sure they have the knowledge to teach SEL. Ready-to-use lessons begin on page 11.
