Unit 01: Communication Skills
Moodle provides many ways to navigate a course.
This video describes Moodle.
Who is your favorite character in To Kill a Mockingbird?
Please provide your opinion about our recent visit to the wind farm. There are only 5 questions. All responses will remain anonymous.
This class is meant to give you skills that allow you to be more confident and more successful in your family relationships, both now and in the future. Answer the 3 questions in this Questionnaire as honestly as you can. Your responses will be anonymous, but everyone in the class will be able to view all the responses. We’ll use this information to give you the kinds of information and activities that you want to get from this class.
Please respond to this brief survey. Your response will not remain anonymous. Thank you!
Work with your groups to develop your assigned portion of this wiki. When it is complete, we want to use it as a place to understand all the different types of jobs a nurse might fill. Your research should include licensing requirements, education and experience, work environment, average pay, and an interview or case study for each nursing role that we explore.
We will be visiting the Antioch cemetery location to find and record information about the headstones and monuments still standing there. For each grave marker, please record:
One to three pictures of the marker.
The name on the marker, if legible.
The birth and death dates on the marker, if legible.
Any other inscriptions on the marker, if legible.
The location of the marker on the map provided.
In this forum, you will respond to this prompt: “What do you do, or have you done, to help another person succeed in achieving something? Share an experience where someone else helped you when you were struggling.” Each student may create one discussion with your response. Please review other students’ responses and post at least two replies.
Please write a 1500 word persuasive paper on the topic of your choice. Remember to use the essay structure that we’ve been practicing: End your introduction with your thesis statement; provide supporting evidence in the body of the essay; and summarize your points in a strong conclusion. Use at least two sources with proper citation format. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation will be included as part of your grade.
