Course Length: 1 Year
Course Description: This is a one-semester course designed to provide students with the basic skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage their personal finances. The objectives and learning activities are based on real world situations, and will help to build a foundation for making informed and successful personal financial decisions. The course is comprised of the 14 areas of instruction outlined in the Oklahoma Passport to Financial Literacy Act of 2007(70 O.S. § 11-103.6h) and meets the standards for the high school graduation requirement.

Oklahoma Council on Economic Education hosts a free stock market game to compete against other schools in Oklahoma. Contests are offered each semester or students may compete for a whole year. Prizes and an awards program occur at the end of the school year.
