Course Length: 1 Year

This course enables students to explore their creativity in the field of interior design. Identification of the elements and principles of design are emphasized. Other
topics included are housing needs, influences on the housing industry, furniture arrangement basics, floor plan evaluation, area planning, facility and maintenance management, and careers. Student leadership through Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is an integral part of this course.
