Bed 1 Dianne Tell is a 26 year old female who was transferred from the ICU 2 days ago from a DKA episode due to a UTI.  She is allergic to Demerol.  She is on an 1800 ADA diet with SSI orders.  Her insulin pens are at bedside.  The tech has taken her FSBS and put it on her board with her Vital Signs.  She is up ad lib. Her PIV was removed this morning.  Her morning labs are pending which you should already have back.  Doctor has written orders for her to be discharged today and wants discharge teaching completed on DKA.  Her ride should be here to pick her up about 2 hrs,
