1. Serve as chair of the By-laws/Process & Guidelines Committee

  • Annually review by-laws 
  • Recommend any proposed additions/revisions
  • Have proposed revisions ready for discussion by Spring meeting.
  • Email proposed changes to membership prior to school being out for the summer so that they can be reviewed prior to the August Conference meeting.

2. Chair of Ad Hoc committees

3. Attend the Leadership Training at the annual OkACTE meeting.

  • Fall Semester (usually in September/October)

 4. Attend all OHCETA Executive Council meetings

  • Fall
  • Spring
  • Summer Conference

 

5. Assist the Division President with membership communication efforts, particularly when the office represents        a segment of the Division.

6. Assure the existence of and facilitate the Division “Mentor” or “Buddy” program

  • Currently looking at doing this within the OHCETA Executive Council
  • Utilize ctYOu.org as a portal of information to guide future council members with required duties, job description, assigned tasks, etc.

7. Assist the President-Elect in identifying Division/OkACTE/ACTE nonmembers and potential members among          the segment of educators associated with this particular office.

8. Carry out ongoing recruitment and retention membership efforts within that segment.

9. Attend the annual OkACTE Leadership Seminar

10. Attend if possible, the OkACTE Legislative Seminar (around March)

11. Fulfill duties as assigned by the Division President.

      -  Identify Health Point of Contact for each Tech Center
