Morning Session: Interior Design with Julia Kirkendall
Led by Julia Kirkendall, Principal Designer & Owner of Kirkendall Design, the morning session will explore the latest trends and innovations in Interior Design. With over 30 years of experience creating award-winning interiors, Julia’s expertise lies in curating spaces that beautifully reflect each client’s unique story. Attendees will gain insight into the creative and business aspects of interior design while enjoying the stunning surroundings of The Studio at Kirkendall Designs, which features a photography studio, outdoor spaces, and a flower farm.
Afternoon Session: Fashion & Textile Industry with Shaelynn Haning
In the afternoon, we will hear from Shaelynn Haning, founder of Tallgrass Tailor, Tulsa’s highly regarded tailoring and alterations business. She is also the host of The Sew Show with Shae, a YouTube channel with over 2.5 million views, featuring fun, educational, and entertaining sewing content that reaches audiences worldwide through closed captions in 50+ languages.
As a YouTube show host, entrepreneur, and advocate for skilled trades, Shaelynn will share her journey in the fashion and garment industry, offering valuable insights into emerging trends and career opportunities in fashion design across Oklahoma. She also serves on the Oklahoma CareerTech Board, where she plays an active role in shaping educational pathways for future professionals in skilled trades.
