      Power Distribution and Understanding you Electric Bill

      In this lesson, students will learn how electricity is distributed from power plants to residential homes as well as industry. They will also learn how to calculate the cost of running various appliances in their home. The activity "Going on a Watt Hunt" actually needs to be the HW the day before this lesson.

      This lab is inquiry based lab for students working remotely: students will be able to make waves in water, sound, and light and see how they are related; discuss wave properties using common vocabulary; explain how changing the frequency and amplitude affects the characteristics of the wave; design an experiment that measure the speed of the wave.
