  National Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (NATFACS)
  
  The National Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (NATFACS) endeavors to:
  
  - Provide an organization for group expression and group action dealing with problems of national
     importance to family and consumer sciences.
  - Provide opportunity for an exchange of ideas and materials as well as a sharing of expectations.
  - Support the purposes of the Association of Career and Technical Education.

  Oklahoma Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (OATFACS)

  The objectives of this association are:

  • To assume and maintain an active state leadership in the promotion and furtherance of family and consumer sciences education.
  • To bring together all family and consumer sciences teachers through membership in a state organization devoted exclusively to their interests.
  • To provide an opportunity for family and consumer sciences teachers to discuss all problems which may arise.
  • To serve state or local organizations of family and consumer sciences teachers in the solution of any problems which may arise.
  • To emphasize and encourage the promotion and expansion of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapters.
  •  To have and possess all the rights, powers, and privileges given to corporations by common law.
  •  To affiliate and cooperate with the National Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences, the Association for Career and Technical Education and the Oklahoma Association for Career and Technology Education in furthering the cause of career and technology education.
