The Maintenance Light Repair program prepares students to master the entry level knowledge and skills required to achieve ASE G 1 certification. The program coursework covers MLR levels of training in all eight ASE areas including Engine Repair (A-1), Automatic Transmissions (A-2), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A-3), Suspension and Steering (A-4), Brakes (A-5), Electrical/ Electronic Systems (A-6), Heating and Air Conditioning (A-7) and Engine Performance (A-8). Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair is the fastest growing segment of the automotive service industry representing 70% of the operation revenue.
