Course Description:
This course is designed to familiarize the student with the holistic care approach for the pediatric patient. The student will be able to relate normal growth and development, as well as the physical, emotional and social needs of the pediatric patient; apply fundamental nursing skills and principles in the care of the pediatric patient and family; and describe common pediatric disorders.
