Nursing Clinical IV is the fourth clinical course, in which the student incorporates all threads learned during previous levels together. Students will master caring for maternal/child, and pediatric clients as well as demonstrate the ability to provide care for clients experiencing coping and or mental health issues. The student will continue to utilize therapeutic communication, assessment, documentation, and organizational skills. Clinical Nurse IV will consist of 88 hours, Students will continue to master previous nursing skills. Application of theory in the clinical setting will be demonstrated through the continued development of critical thinking skills
