Enterprise Network Routing & Switching Associate

This major is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize the student’s foundational networking knowledge and increase their value as an employee.  This major prepares students to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a wide area network (WAN).  

Students will demonstrate the skills required for an associate level

Technologies covered include Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco IOS, IOS Licensing, IPv6, VLANs, ACLs, Etherchannel EIGRP, SNM, Netflow, WLAN, LAN and WAN

Students must complete the requirements for the Enterprise Network Technician Major

Students in this major gain the technical skills required for Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing and Switching Specialty, Cisco Certified Entry Level Technician, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+

Depending on the capstone chosen the student can also be ready for one of the following

Security+, Storage+, Cloud+ or Healthcare IT Technician.
